Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Continuation of the Conditional Use Hearing to consider a request by the Delaware County Intermediate Unit (DCIU) for Conditional Use Approval to allow the DCIU to expand the current use at the Delaware County Technical School property at 100 Crozerville Road, Aston, PA will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. The hearing will also include consideration of a Settlement Agreement. The hearing will be held in the Commissioners Meeting Room at 5021 Pennell Road, Aston, PA during the monthly Board of Commissioners meeting starting at 7:00 PM.
Any member of the public wishing to be heard during this hearing is required to file an Entry of Appearance Form with the Township Solicitor prior to the meeting. For your convenience, this form may be downloaded from the sidebar of the Township Website and submitted prior to the meeting.
The Aston Township Parks and Recreation Committee along with the Aston Township Board of Commissioners, are happy to announce the Second Annual Aston Township Holiday Decorating Contest!
The contest will be open to all residences and businesses within Aston Township. We are asking participants to join in the fun this holiday season throughout the month of December with final judging completed by Friday, December 16, 2016.

The Aston Township will hold it’s annual Psychic Fair on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM at the American Legion Post #926, 3220 Concord Road, Aston. Admission at the door: $5 per person which includes appetizers, desserts, soft drinks, coffee or tea. Cash bar will also be available. Cost per reading is $20. Profits benefit the Aston Township Lioness Club which in turn benefits the visually impaired and less fortunate members of our immediate and surrounding communities.

The Aston Business Association has rescheduled the 15th Annual Aston Township Community Day for Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 11:00AM – 3:00PM
Community Day will begin with a parade from Neumann University (Neumann Drive) starting at 9:30AM. The parade will proceed along Concord Road to the Aston Township Community Center . The parade will feature local community groups and organizations, as well as, musical entertainment. Read more
Emotions ran high the evening of August 18 as members of the Aston Township Fire Department (ATFD) #17 joined commissioners, officials and neighbors for the decommissioning ceremony of the ATFD West station, formerly known as the Aston-Beechwood Fire Company #72 on Mount Road.
“Traditions in the fire service are very important, said Sean Joyce, ATFD president. “We, as the newly formed Aston Township Fire Department, feel the same way and believe this station is a very important part of our legacy… Change is not always easy, and in order to grow and continue to serve the community we must continue to move forward.” Read more
