Sun Valley High School Post Prom 2018 Cash Bingo

The Sun Valley Post Prom 2018 Committee will be holding a cash bingo on Sunday, March 18, 2018. Doors will open at 3 p.m. with games beginning at 3:30 p.m. The event will be held at the Aston Township Community Center, 3270 Concord Road. Aston, Pa. Cost for tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door (if available).  Come enjoy ten (10) games of bingo with four (4) cards per game and door prizes!! Read more

Understanding Addiction & How To Prevent It

The Partners for Success Coalition is a volunteer group that works along with the County’s Heroin Task Force  to address underage drinking and prescription drug use among youth, young adults and families.  They work to reduce prescription drug abuse, diminish the amount of prescription medications available to youth and increase community awareness through health promotions, media campaigns, and awareness events.

The Partners for Success Coalition will be holding a free event on Saturday March 24, 2018 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  This event will be held at the Community Hall/Neumann University, 1 Neumann Drive. Aston, Pa 19014.

2018 General Obligation Notes

At the monthly Commissioners meeting on Wednesday January 17, 2018, an ordinance was passed for the 2018 General Obligation Notes. The proposed expenditures represent the Township’s vision over the next three (3) to five (5) years. While the amount of the General Obligation Notes, 2018 Series is $12,000,000, this will fund the next phase of the Vision Plan. Below please find Ordinance No. 975 which further describes the Notes and also a more thorough description of what it will be used for.

Holiday Decorating Contest Winners!

The Aston Township Parks and Recreation Committee has announced the 2017 Holiday Decorating Contest winners!  The residents have gone above and beyond this year and you have all done an amazing job, picking winners was not an easy task for our judges!  We encourage everyone to go out and enjoy all of the beautiful decorations and light displays throughout the Township, those who decorated your efforts have not gone unnoticed! Congratulations to all of our winners, we look forward to next years contest already! Bridgewater Farms Traffic Calming Results
