The Public Works Department employees would like to thank you for your help and patience in adapting to our bagged leaves initiative.
The Board of Commissioners recognize that this new procedure requires an adjustment to your normal property maintenance habits. Like many local governing bodies dealing with the pressure to keep expenditures under control, the Aston Township Board of Commissioners are calling on residents to help us implement this cost cutting initiative. Your cooperation and patience with this new procedure is appreciated.
Aston township Public Works Department employees will pick-up bagged leaves in biodegradable bags ONLY. Bagged leaves are to be placed curbside on your regular trash day!
PLEASE DO NOT PLACE BAGGED LEAVES OUT IN THE STREET
- ALL LEAVES MUST BE PLACED IN BIO-DEGRADABLE PAPER BAGS.
- NO PLASTIC BAGS WILL BE ACCEPTED
Bio-degradable bags are available at your local hardware store.
