FALL IS RECYCLE TIME.  It’s time to switch our spring/summer wardrobe to fall/winter duds. AND, there’s no better time than now to get rid of those clothes we haven’t worn for “years.”  With 3, that’s right 3, establishments right here in Aston disposing of those clothes in a manner that benefits others as easy as, well, 1 – 2 – 3. Let’s not forget the other closets in our home – household items, working electronic gadgets, books, and the list goes on and on and on.   In the spirit of benefiting others, Aston has a FIRST - GreenDrop Charitable Donations [...]

Message from the Aston Township Health Department.

2012-10-03T10:03:13-04:00

The Aston Township Health department would like to remind all residents to please eliminate any and all stagnate water from your property. Stagnate water attracts insects like mosquitoes that may carry the West Nile Virus. On the Pennsylvania West Nile Control Program Website a product named Bti is recommended for use in controlling the mosquito population. This product which can be found at many Home Improvement stores kills mosquito larvae and is not harmful to people, pets, fish, or plants. For more information about the Pennsylvania West Nile Control Program and Bti, click the link below.

Attention All Aston Businesses!!!

2012-08-31T13:35:45-04:00

The Aston Township Board of Commissioners announced at the June meeting that they will be running a trial program to allow banner and flag advertising for businesses in the community. The idea is that this will give business owners enough time to plan when they will want to have a major advertising push. Some examples of this are, a new product roll out, an end of the season sale, a back to school sale, a major event coming [...]
