Aston Commissioners, during the October 19 meeting, recognized township resident Andrew Gill on his promotion to Eagle Scout. The son of Brian and Janemarie Gill, Andrew is a senior at Sun Valley High School. His Eagle Scout project involved planning, supervising and painting two pre-K classrooms at Holy Family Regional Catholic School in Aston. With assistance from adult scout leaders, fellow scouts, friends and family, the classrooms were painted prior to the beginning of the school year. The Aston Township will hold it's annual Psychic Fair on Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM at the American Legion Post #926, 3220 Concord Road, Aston. Admission at the door: $5 per person which includes appetizers, desserts, soft drinks, coffee or tea. Cash bar will also be available. Cost per reading is $20. Profits benefit the Aston Township Lioness Club which in turn benefits the visually impaired and less fortunate members of our immediate and surrounding communities.
