Governor Wolf Announces Funding To Renovate Aston Township Fire Department

Governor Tom Wolf announced today that the firehouse, formally known as Green Ridge Fire House, now Aston Township Fire Department in Aston, Delaware County, will use new state funding to quadruple the size of its fire house enabling it to better provide the services necessary to keep members of the local community safe.  Aston Township was awarded a $1 million grant to expand the Aston Township Fire Department from 5,250 square feet to 20,680 square feet and complete renovations to modernize the 30-year-old building.

This is the first release of RACP funding in Delaware County on 2018 Business Plans submitted. Thank you Governor Wolf and also a thank you to our town State Senator Tom Killion for all of their support!

Accepting Applications for 5th Ward Commissioner

Aston Township will be accepting resumes for the vacancy position of 5th Ward Commissioner.  All applicants must be a registered voter and a resident of the 5th Ward in Aston Township for at least one (1) year.
