The Parks & Recreation Committee is committed to making Aston a great community! Each year, along with countless volunteers, this group plan and organizes many events designed to make Aston a great place to live and raise a family. Below are some notable examples of these events.

| Christmas Tree Lighting 6:30 pm Christmas Tree Lighting @ Aston Township Community Center Dec 5 @ 6:30 pm  The Aston Township Parks and Recreation Committee will be holding their Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Winter Fun Festival at the Aston Township Community Center, 3270 Concord Road., on Friday December 6, 2024, beginning at 6:30 p.m. with Santa arriving at 6:45 p.m. There will be FREE pictures with Santa, A Magician, Aston & Pennell Elementary Chorus Groups, Crafts, Refreshments and Hope Youth Hand Bells during the event for all to enjoy! | ||||||
| Aston Senior Citizens 10:00 am Aston Senior Citizens Dec 18 @ 10:00 am If you are 55 years or older, and live in the Penn Delco School District, please join the ASTON SENIOR CITIZENS ASSOCIATION! We’re always looking for new members. We meet every fourth Thursday (except for November, December and June) from September to June, at the Aston Township Community Center. Membership is only $10.00/year. You can purchase a hot, catered lunch for the next month for only $15.00. We have entertainment at each general meeting.
