Replay: September 2020 Commissioner’s Meeting

Replay of this month's Aston Township Board of Commissioners Meeting on September 16, 2020 @ 7:00PM via Zoom, Live Online, on the Township Website and TV Channel.  Due to Governor Wolf's order to restrict public gatherings we are unable to open the Township Building for the public. We feel this will be the safest way possible to keep the residents informed as well as giving them the ability to ask questions or voice comments/concern.

Groundbreaking for New Aston Fire Department Fire House

The Aston Township Board of Commissioners and the Aston Township Fire Department will be holding the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Fire Station on Thursday, July 16, 2020.  The ceremony will take place at the site of the current fire house located at 2900 Dutton Mill Road, starting at 6:30pm.  This project is being funded by your tax dollars and a $1 million dollar grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

July 1 Update on the Countywide Reassessment Project

In early 2017, Delaware County was ordered by the Court to conduct and implement a Countywide Reassessment of all properties in the County to be effective January 1, 2021. In November of 2017, the County contracted with Tyler Technologies to perform valuation services in conjunction with the Countywide Reassessment. County staff and Tyler Technologies have worked diligently to ensure that the Reassessment Project would be completed in accordance with the Court’s timeline.

Wolf Orders: Masks Are Mandatory in All Public Spaces

Wednesday July 1st, Governor Tom Wolf announced a new order signed by Dr. Levine. Under the order, signed under Dr. Levine’s authority under the Disease Prevention and Control Act, masks must be worn whenever a person leaves their home. The order takes effect immediately.

Community Day & Business Expo @ Aston Township Community Center
The Aston Business Association will host the Annual Aston Township Community Day on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 11:00AM – 3:00PM Community Day will begin with a parade from Neumann University (Neumann Drive) starting at 9:00am.  The parade will proceed along Concord Road to the Aston Township Community Center.  The parade will feature local community groups and organizations, as well as, musical entertainment.  Inside the community center, the Annual Business Expo will be held for all Aston businesses
