Camp Rainbow is a wonderful summer opportunity for the boys and girls of Aston Township. It is open to ALL Aston residents who will enter first grade through fifth grade in the fall and is brought to you by the Aston Township Board of Commissioners. Camp Rainbow is held Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. beginning Monday June 20th until Friday, July 29th for a total of six (6) weeks. As done in previous years, AARP will be helping local senior citizens with preparation of their income taxes. This will be held at the Aston Township Community Center, 3270 Concord Road., Aston, Pa 19014 on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. beginning February 7th through April 18th. Services will not be available on Monday February 21st due to President's Day. Services will be provided by appointment only. Beginning Monday, March 7th, 2022, the Aston Township Community Center will be opening its doors for all Aston residents 18 and above with proof of identification, to participate in pickleball and basketball. The Center will be providing the necessary equipment for basketball while the pickleball equipment needs to be self-provided. There will be no outside basketballs permitted in the gym. The Rockdale Arts District was unanimously voted into the Aston Township zoning code at the Board of Commissioners meeting on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Thank you to Commissioner John Dougherty and the rest of the committee that worked diligently together for over a year from fruition to finalization, making the Art District possible.
