We would like to notify the residents of Aston that Green Lawn Fertilizing has been issued two (2) peddlers permit beginning on April 20, 2026 and expiring June 1, 2026. This is the only company with an active solicitation permit; we remind you to always ask to see a Township issued permit from anyone knocking on your door.  Additionally, if you have elected to be entered onto the Township "No Knock" list the company has been given a list and advised not to solicite at those homes. Concord & Donnelly Intersection Improvements to Start February 5, 2026

Improvements to the Concord and Donnelly intersection are scheduled to start on Thursday, February 5th. The initial work includes sidewalk demolition and pipe removal, and the installation of new reinforced piping on the north side of Concord Road. For your own safety and the safety of the workers, drivers and pedestrians should exercise caution when entering the intersection.

Work on the new Aston Township Municipal Building and Police Department is complete, and the building is now occupied. The new building is located near the center of the town to better serve our residents and provide public safety. With the addition of our new municipal building and police department, existing Community Center, Fieldhouse, and Library, we now have a complete municipal complex in place. AARP Income Taxes Prepared At The Community Center

As done in previous years, AARP will will be doing tax preparation at the Aston Community Center on Mondays and Wednesdays. We will start Monday, February 2nd and finish Wednesday, April 15th. We will not be there on President’s Day (Monday, Feb.16th).  All tax preparation will be by Appointment Only.   Please, do not call the Community Center.   Appointments must be made in person at the Aston Community Center.   In January we will be there from 8:30am to 12 noonon the following three Wednesdays:  Jan.14th, Jan.21st and Jan.28th.  Starting in February appointments can be made on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9:00am to 12:30pm until all appointments are filled.    The process is the same as last year:  [...]

Norristown, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) issued an administrative order(opens in a new tab) to Monroe Energy’s MIPC, LLC to begin an interim cleanup plan and thorough investigation at its Chelsea Pipeline Station and Tank Farm(opens in a new tab) in Aston, Bethel, and Upper Chichester townships, Delaware County, as a result of a discovered gasoline leak.
