Aston Township United States Military Veterans and Active Duty Military Service Members are invited to a dinner (with one support person) that will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at the James W. McGinn Community Center immediately following the Rotary Flags for Heroes which will begin at 2pm. The flyer and registration form that will need to be completed can be found here. West Nile Positive Notification

West Nile Virus positive mosquito samples have been collected in Aston Township.  The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will be continuing surveillance near the location where the positive samples have been collected.  At this point in the season the WNV transmission cycle has amplified the virus in the bird host population, and they expect to see positive samples of mosquitos and continues West Nile activity until the first frost. SWDCMA Work/Traffic Control

Southwest Delaware County Municipal Authority (SWDCMA) will be performing work along Concord Road and Dutton Mill Road beginning the week of March 17, 2025 and is expected to last from 2-4 weeks.  Flagger Force will be handling the necessary lane closures and traffic control during this time.  Our PennDOT permit has been issued for four weeks with work being done Tuesday through Friday from 9 am to 3 pm. The work will be on Concord Road, from Ellston Road to Baldwin Run Drive; and, on Dutton Mill Road, from Kingston Terrace to Wellington.

Peddlers Permits Issued

We would like to notify the residents of Aston that Green Lawn Fertilizing has been issued two (2) peddlers permit beginning on April 28, 2025 and expiring June 9, 2025. This is the only company with an active solicitation permit, we remind you to always ask to see a Township issued permit from anyone knocking on your door. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact the Code Department at 610-494-0384.
