Camp Aston is a wonderful summer opportunity for the boys and girls of Aston Township. It is open to ALL Aston residents who will enter first grade through fifth grade in the fall and is brought to you by the Aston Township Board of Commissioners. Camp is held Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. beginning Monday June 26th until Friday, August 4th for a total of six (6) weeks. Valleybrook Road Detour – Monday March 27 Through Thursday April 6

Valleybrook Rd will be closed from Llewellyn Rd to Bodley Rd for the long-anticipated culvert replacement. Beginning Monday March 27 until Thursday April 6 (or thereabouts) please follow the posted detour signs.  All through traffic will detour to Llewellyn Rd and Bodley Rd or Bodley to Llewellyn. Valleybrook will be open to Mattson, so those living off Mattson will still have access from the south side of Valleybrook. Please be careful at all intersections, follow the posted speed limit signs and be mindful of people who live and travel on those roads normally.

SEPTA Agrees with Aston Township to No Longer Test Horns at Lenni Rail Yard

Aston township in conjunction with our neighbors Middletown Township and Chester a heights Borough have been engaged with SEPTA to try and find ways to reduce the noise associated with the new rail service to Wawa Station. While the rail crossing and rail yard are not in Aston Township, residents in Aston have voiced their complaints about the noise associated with the new service and rail yard which started in August 2022. Knights of Columbus All Cash BINGO

An all-cash BINGO will be held on Saturday, April 15th at 6:15 pm (doors open at 5:30) at the St. Joseph’s Church gymnasium in Aston.  There will be 21 chances to win money: 15 regular games, 5 special games, and a final game worth $250! Raffles baskets, a 50/50 and more! Food and drink available for purchase. Come join the fun on April 15th!  Proceeds benefit the local chapter of the Knights of Columbus. 2023 Annual Easter Egg Hunt & Bunny Brunch

Aston Township's Annual Easter Egg Scramble will be held on Saturday March 25, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., a rain date is scheduled for Sunday March 26, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. There is no registration required, bring your camera the Easter Bunny will be available for hugs and pictures.  Refreshments will be served inside following the Egg Scramble as well as a face painter and music.  This event will be held at the Aston Township Community Center, 3270 Concord Road. Aston, Pa 19014.  We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Tax Bill Error – Update February 16, 2023

UPDATE as of February 16, 2023: Corrected tax bills will be mailed out to those residents affected by the error beginning February 16, 2023.  Again, we apologize for this error and any inconvenience this may have caused those that received wrong tax bills.  It has been brought to the Township's attention there are errors on some of the tax bills that have been sent out and received by residents, those primarily affected are residents with private trash as well as others with approved exemptions. AARP Income Taxes Prepared At The Community Center

As done in previous years, AARP will be helping local senior citizens with preparation of their income taxes.  This will be held at the Aston Township Community Center, 3270 Concord Road., Aston, Pa 19014 on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. beginning February 1st through April 17th.  Services will not be available on Monday February 20th due to President's Day. New Road Bridge Closure

2023 Aston Township Operating Budget/Presentation

At the December 21, 2022 Board of Commissioners meeting the final 2023 budget was presented to the public by Commissioner John Dougherty.  The budget will be voted on at the Aston Township End of the Year Special Board of Commissioners Meeting scheduled for December 29, 2022 at 3 p.m.  This meeting will be held at 2 New Road., Suite 123.  Aston, Pa 19014.
