Camp Aston is a wonderful summer opportunity for the boys and girls of Aston Township. It is open to ALL Aston residents who will enter first grade through fifth grade in the fall and is brought to you by the Aston Township Board of Commissioners. This is the only company with an active solicitation permit; we remind you to always ask to see a Township issued permit from anyone knocking on your door. Improvements to the Concord and Donnelly intersection are scheduled to start on Thursday, February 5th. The initial work includes sidewalk demolition and pipe removal, and the installation of new reinforced piping on the north side of Concord Road. For your own safety and the safety of the workers, drivers and pedestrians should exercise caution when entering the intersection.
Please be advised that due to the expected snow conditions, Monday's trash and recycling pickup has been canceled. Instead, both Monday and Tuesday's collections will be completed on Tuesday. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Work on the new Aston Township Municipal Building and Police Department is complete, and the building is now occupied. The new building is located near the center of the town to better serve our residents and provide public safety. With the addition of our new municipal building and police department, existing Community Center, Fieldhouse, and Library, we now have a complete municipal complex in place. Add the multipurpose Smiles in the Playground, Amphitheater, and athletic fields, we have a campus for the added use and enjoyment of all our residents.
