The Aston township Building and Code department has been revamped to help better support you the residents. The restructuring of the department has allowed for township employees to spend more time out in the community checking up on permits, getting to know the contractors, residents, and developing a working relationship with the community.

Aston was first settled in 1682 as a municipality and was incorporated as a township in 1688. In 1906 it became a first class township. Today, Aston covers approximately six square miles. Although mostly comprised of land, Chester Creek, a tributary of the Delaware River flows through the town where it merges with it’s western branch in the township’s Leni section.
In May of 2003, the Veterans Memorial Garden Foundation was formed to oversee the development and construction of a memorial garden at Five Points (pictured here). Aston is home to a variety of faith-based institutions and Neumann University. Read More …
