Meeting the Needs of Our Communities in this Difficult Time

Covid-19 has severely impacted our communities and many organizations throughout the country have had to shift the way they operate. Community Transit of Delaware County has been rapidly augmenting our services to meet the ever-changing needs of the community in response to the pandemic. We want to make sure that you are aware of the resources we now offer to help your residents.

One of our most popular new services is the grocery delivery program we are offering in partnership with County of Delaware Services for the Aging (COSA). Community Transit has been providing on demand grocery delivery services for residents of Delaware County, PA over the age of 60. The recipient is only responsible for the payment of their grocery order, which can be paid by cash or check on delivery, or through PayPal with prior approval. The delivery and grocery shopping service fees
are paid for in partnership with COSA. Currently, we are offering next day delivery for orders placed Monday through Thursday. This is a great way for residents to receive the food and personal care items they may need without risking a trip to the grocery store. If you have interested residents or would like more information, please email grocerydropoff@ctdelco.org or call 610-457-7841.

We ask that residents utilize email when possible to provide maximum efficiency, but for residents without internet access please have them call and we will help them place an order.

We have proudly served Delaware County since 1983 and we are working harder than ever to ensure that qualified residents have access to quality reliable, and safe transportation services. Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to hearing from you.
