The Aston Community Center is making a huge upgrade in its gymnasium, switching the older, harder grey floors with brand new wooden ones. The new wood floor at the community center is a joint effort by the township and Aston Athletic Association. These brand new, maple floors are going to go a long way in helping make the gym look a lot nicer, as well as making the experience of the Aston A.A. participants much more enjoyable and less injury-prone. The cost was shared by the AAA and was a gift to the township. No tax dollars were used in this project. The entire project is moving quickly and will be finished by Aston’s yearly Community Day.
