AFTD Active Member Scott Jones
The appearance of Santa in Aston has been postponed so that our community may honor the service and passing of one of our beloved first responders.
The Aston Township Fire Department regrets to announce the death of Active Member Scott Jones. Scott was an 18 year member of the Aston Township Fire Department where he held the ranks of Lieutenant, Assistant Engineer and Trustee. Scott was also a career Firefighter/EMT with the Newton Square Fire Company for the last 5 years and the Media Hook & Ladder Company for the last 3 years.
Funeral Services are the following:
Friday 12/04/15 Visitation starting at 1800 hours &
Saturday 12/05/15 Visitation from 0900-1100 hours with a ceremony to follow.
Interment: Private
At the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, LTD. Located at Rt 352 & Knowlton Road, Media, PA 19063
