The franchise owner of the Aston Burger King located at 5012 Pennell Road is planning to demolish the existing drive-thru restaurant and rebuild it as a Taco Bell drive thru. The restaurant is a permitted use in the C-Commercial Zoning District. Brian Cleary, PE. on behalf of Robert Nasuti/Aston Investors will appear before the Aston Township Zoning Hearing Board on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 to request a variance to the ordinance for free standing signs, the number and size of menu board signs and the number of building signs. Additionally, the applicant is requesting a variance for 32 parking spaces. No variance is needed for he demolition.
This Zoning Hearing Board meeting will be held at the Aston Township Municipal Building at 5021 Pennell Road on January 22, 2019 starting at 7pm. This is a public meeting and residents are invited to attend the hearing and comment.
