ASTON TOWNSHIP COMMUNITY UPDATE –

Aston Township Community Center
- The Aston Township Community Center will be open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning October 1, 2020.
- Meeting rooms are available for use – A request must be submitted to the Township Building for Approval.
- Gymnasium will remain closed until January 1, 2021.
Aston Township Public Library
- The Aston Township Public Library currently remains closed to the public, please check their website (www.astonlibrary.org) or their Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/astonlibrary) for any updates to their re-opening date.
Aston Township Parks and Playgrounds
- All Township parks and playgrounds are open and available for use, those using parks and playgrounds will need to continue to follow guidelines set forth by the CDC.
- 6 feet social distancing must be practiced.
- Masks must be worn if social distancing cannot be practiced.
- It is recommended to bring hand sanitizer to use, as there is no place to wash your hands.
- Park and playground amenities cannot be guaranteed to be sanitized.
Aston Township Sports Associations
- Teams may continue playing games, all guidelines currently in place by the CDC must be followed.
- All coaches must ensure CDC Guidelines are being followed by all teams using the fields.
- Spectators must also follow CDC Guidelines, including wearing a mask if social distancing cannot be practiced.
- 6 feet social distancing must be practiced.
- Children are to wear a mask, unless actively playing the related sport activity.
- Opening and use of concession stands will not be allowed.
