Replay of the Aston Township Board of Commissioners Meeting on April 21, 2021 @ 7:00PM Live Online, on the Township Website and TV Channel.  Due to Governor Wolf's order to restrict public gatherings, attendance at this meeting in the Township Building was limited to 25. We feel this will be the safest way possible to keep the residents informed as well as giving them the ability to ask questions or voice comments/concern.

The U.S. Small Business Administration is reminding businesses in Pennsylvania that Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) are still available to small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture, and private nonprofit organizations affected by civil unrest from May 30 to June 8, 2020. The application deadline is May 7.

All Adults in Pennsylvania are Eligible for Vaccine Tomorrow (4/13/21)

Governor Tom Wolf and the COVID-19 Vaccine Task Force announced that effective tomorrow, Tuesday, April 13, all Pennsylvania adults will be eligible to schedule an appointment for the COVID -19 vaccine. The Department of Health noted that there is ongoing appointment availability in many parts of the state even as Phase 1A and B continue and 1C begins today.

Delaware County Announces Emergency Rental Assistance Program

Delaware County officially launched the Delaware County Emergency Rental Assistance (DELCO ERA) Grant Program on March 26. The program assists renters who have suffered disruption and loss of income due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Over $37 million is available to residents to assist with past due rent and an outstanding utility bill.

Effective April 4, restaurants may resume bar service; alcohol service will be allowed without the purchase of food; the curfew for removing alcoholic drinks from tables will be lifted; and indoor dining capacity will be raised to 75 percent for those restaurants that are currently self-certified and those that undergo the self-certification process, which involves agreeing to strictly comply to all public health safety guidelines and orders, including the cleaning and mitigation protocols and other operational requirements contained in the Governor and Secretary of Health’s mitigation and enforcement orders issued on November 23, 2020, as amended. Delaware County Partners with AMI Expeditionary Healthcare to Host Long-Term COVID-19 Testing Site in Upland

The drive-thru testing clinic will be operational Tuesdays through Saturdays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the U.S. Army Reserve in Upland. Up to 450 patients will be able to be tested per day using the mid-nasal passage swab PCR test.
