Former Township Commissioner Bob Willoughby The Aston Township Board of Commissioners and the residents of the township are saddened to learn of the death of former 4th ward Commissioner Robert S. Willoughby. Our condolences go out to Bob's wife Jacque', his daughters Wendy and Jodi, and son-in law, David. Bob was appointed commissioner of the 4th ward in October 1999 when he filled the unexpired term of Commissioner Bill Welch. He was then elected and served as 4th ward commissioner until 2006. On Monday December 15, 2014. N. Convent Rd. in the area of 596 N. Convent Rd. will be closed from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM due to road work, installation of new sewer line. Signage will be in place alerting motorists of the road closure.

Neumann University will host its annual Greccio Live Nativity Celebration on Sunday, December 7.  The program, which is free and open to the public, begins at 6:15 p.m. in front of the Mirenda Center for Sport, Spirituality and Character Development on Convent Road. Neumann students and faculty will re-enact the Franciscan tradition of the crib, performing the Live Nativity scene and the scripture narration.  The program will also feature the sounds of sacred Christmas music, performed by the Holy Family Regional School Bell and Children’s Choir.
