DCIU Land Development – Conditional Use Hearing

The Aston Township Board of Commissioners has established the following date with the Delaware County Intermediate Unit to continue public hearing for review of the conditional use as proposed in the current DCIU land development proposal. The Conditional Use Hearing will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 beginning at 7:00 PM in the Aston Township Commissioner's Meeting Room located in the Aston Township Municipal Building at 5021 Pennell Road. Please keep the curb sides clear of vehicles. After the long and fierce winter of 2014-15 our Public Works Department is hard at work cleaning the remains of our roadway treatments. As the township street sweaping truck makes it's way through the township, we ask that residents make every effort to keep the curb sides clear of vehicles so that our crews can do a through job.

Clothing Drive Fundraiser for 2015 Post Prom

A Clothing Drive to benefit the Sun Valley Post Prom will be held from April 7th through April 20th. Drop off location will be the Sun Valley lobby. The Sun Valley Post Prom happens at the high school each year immediately following the Sun Valley High School Senior Prom. The event is a long standing tradition at Sun Valley designed to provide a safe and fun environment for our local young adults to celebrate after the prom. The Aston Business Association supports this event because we feel that keeping our children safe should be a top priority in any community.

Saturday, March 28, 2015 beginning at 10:00 AM, at the Aston Township Community Center. Round the kids up and get ready for some Easter fun.  The Aston Township Recreation Committee will also be hosting an Easter Bunny Meet & Greet immediately following the Egg Hunt.
