Aston Valley Baseball League announces Opening Day will be on Saturday, April 9, 2016. As we have in years past, we will start with a parade at 8:30AM from the Community Center down to Weir Park. Following the parade, we will have our Opening Day Ceremony on our Major League Field at approximately 9:30AM. We hope that the community will be able to join us as our coaches, volunteers, parents and young players kick off another season of baseball. Aston Township has declared a “State of Emergency”. The Township Police department, Fire department, and EMS services will remain in service for continuous 24 hour coverage. In the event of an emergency all residents are urged to dial 911. We encourage all residents to refrain from driving to improve emergency response and so that our snow removal crews can clear to roadways.
