Halloween Curfew Resolution Passed

On October 21, 2015 the Aston Township Board of Commissioners passed resolution Resolution #2015-127 to implement a temporary curfew from 9:00 p.m. to sunrise for persons under the age of eighteen (18) begining on Friday, October 30, 2015 through Sunday, November 1, 2015. In recent years this measure has proved to be useful in reducing the number of criminal mischief offenses reported at Halloween time.

Bagged Leaf Collection Begins Oct. 26th

Township leaf collection will begin on October 26 and run through December 18th. Biodegradable leaf bags will be available in the township building. Seniors (age 62 and over) may receive up to five (5) biodegradable leaf bags for FREE. All other residents may choose to purchase bags from the township for $1.50 for five (5) bags or purchase them from a local home center.
