September 21st through September 28th is Delco Arts Week throughout Delaware County! Join the Rockdale Art District on September 28th from 10am to 3pm as we celebrate the arts at our Open House. Visit the artist studios at Heron and Heron Crest Studios to view and purchase fine art; Rockdale Music on Pennell Road and Rockdale Art Center on Mount Road will also be open for family activities. Come out to the Aston Township Community Center on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 6pm to 9pm, doors open at 4:30pm. Admission is $25 and all prizes are cash prizes. In addition, there will be special games, food, bingo supplies and raffles. All proceeds go to the Aston Township Library. No one under the age of 18 will be admitted into the event.

The Board of Commissioners will be holding a special meeting on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 3 p.m., for items that cannot be put on hold until the regular Commissioners Meeting scheduled for September. As with any Commissioners meeting, the public is invited to attend and will be televised. Please click here to view the agenda items.
Community Day planning has begun!! All meetings will begin at 7 p.m. and will be held at the Aston Township Community Center in the small meeting room. The dates for meetings are as follows: Tuesday August 6th Tuesday August 20th Tuesday September 3rd Tuesday September 10th Tuesday September 17th Tuesday September 24th Tuesday October 1st Friday October 4th all day at Community Center We hope to see some of our wonderful residents there that are willing to volunteer for Community Day.
At this time we ask that the residents start to nominate a person for Citizen of the Year. You can find the Nomination Form here and on the Aston Business Association Web Page. Forms will be located at the Township Building on the second floor and the Community Center along with the ballot boxes for those who do not have access to a computer. All Applications must be in by no later than August 20, 2019. Happy Nominating!!!!

The Township Building will be opening at 12 p.m. today, Tuesday July 23, 2019. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Also, the Community Center will be opening at 8 a.m. for those residents in need of air or a charging station. Camp Rainbow will still be held today at the Community Center as scheduled.
