Family Movie Night is brought to you by the Aston Township Park and Rec Committee. All Movie Night Events are FREE! and will begin at dusk. We will also have Food and Soft Drinks available for purchase. CWA To Flush Public Fire Hydrants – July 12 – 17th

The Chester Water Authority will flush all public fire hydrants in Aston Township beginning the week of Sunday, July 12 and continuing through Friday, July 17th. The flushing will occur between 9:00 pm and 5:00 am Sunday night through Friday morning. During this work, there could be brief ;periods when the water in the distribution system may become discolored. Distribution system water pressure may be depressed during the hydrant flushing activity. For questions, please contact Chester Water Authority at 610-876-0940

PennDOT to Improve Aston Mills Road Bridge in Aston Township

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will start construction Monday, July 6, on a $2 million project to rehabilitate the structurally deficient bridge carrying Aston Mills Road over Chester Creek in Aston Township, Delaware County. The Aston Mills Road bridge is one of two bridges that PennDOT will repair under a $6,637,980 bridge improvement project. On May 11, construction began to rehabilitate the bridge carrying Linfield Road over the Schuylkill River in East Coventry Township, Chester County and Limerick Township, Montgomery County. Aston Township Acquires Three Properties from County Repository

2nd Ward Commissioner Graham with members of Delaware County Council The Township has acquired three properties located in the second ward from the Delaware County repository for the sum of $122.50 each, which includes the sale price of $1 and filing fees. The properties located on Mount Road, Lenni Road and Aston Mills/Mount  Road  have been abandoned by their previous owners with no bids being received at the judicial upset sale.
