Come out to the James W. McGinn Community Center on Saturday, May 4, 2024 from 6pm to 9pm, doors open at 4:30pm.  Admission is $25 and all prizes are cash prizes.  In addition, there will be special games, food, bingo supplies and raffles.   All proceeds go to the Aston Township Library, we look forward to seeing everyone there! Sponsored by Friends of Aston Library. No alcohol permitted on premises & no one under 18 will be admitted.

2022 Camp Aston Winter Camp Information

This year, Aston Township and the Parks and Recreation Committee have decided to add a winter camp for a week during winter break from school.  Camp will be open to ALL Aston residents in first through fifth grade, being held December 26th until December 30th drop off is at 8:15am and pick up is 12:30pm. UPDATE: Township Building To Open on May 4th

Township offices at 5021 Pennell Road will reopen with limited access beginning on May 4, 2020. All visitors will be required to strictly comply with the CDC social distancing and face covering guidelines. Visitors will be asked to wait outside and wear a mask while maintaining a distance of 6 feet apart as they wait to be accepted into the building. Delco COSA & Community Transit Grocery Shopping Assist

During the COVID-19 pandemic, The County of Delaware Services for the Aging (COSA) and Community Transit are partnering to offer seniors an alternative to in-person grocery shopping. Community Transit drivers are available to get grocery lists and payment from seniors and shop and deliver their items. Seniors can stay safely in their homes. Township residents are probably aware of the Coronavirus outbreak which first appeared in China and has now reached our shores. This virus, known as COVID-19, causes respiratory illness with symptoms ranging from mild to severe. AARP Income Taxes Prepared At The Community Center

As done in previous years, AARP will be helping local senior citizens with preparation of their income taxes.  This will be held at the Aston Township Community Center, 3270 Concord Road., Aston, Pa 19014 on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. beginning February 1st through April 15th.  Services will not be available on Monday February 15th due to President's Day.
