Aston Township and Commissioner Bowden would like to inform residents that the County has engaged Wilson Consulting Group and their subcontractor Skelly and Loy to complete all necessary design, engineering and permitting for Phase II of the Chester Creek Trail. This next segment of the trail will run from the end of the existing trail at Creek Road for approximately 1.5 miles south to a point at or before Bridgewater Road.
Residents can expect to see workers out in the field as soon as late February 2019 to survey the site. Activity on the design phase of this project is expected to carry into early 2020. Workers will be wearing yellow vests and have identification as well as documentation that the County/SEPTA has authorized them to enter the railroad right-of-way.
