Southwest Delaware County Municipal Authority (SWDCMA) will be performing work along Concord Road and Dutton Mill Road beginning the week of March 17, 2025 and is expected to last from 2-4 weeks. Flagger Force will be handling the necessary lane closures and traffic control during this time. Our PennDOT permit has been issued for four weeks with work being done Tuesday through Friday from 9 am to 3 pm. The work will be on Concord Road, from Ellston Road to Baldwin Run Drive; and, on Dutton Mill Road, from Kingston Terrace to Wellington.
An informational traffic calming meeting was held at the Community Center on March 3, 2025 to discuss residents Donnelly Avenue traffic/speeding concerns. We would like to notify the residents of Aston that Renewal By Andersen has been issued a peddlers permit to solicit within in the Township for thirty (30) days, expiring on April 11, 2025. This is the only company with an active solicitation permit, we remind you to always ask to see a Township issued permit from anyone knocking on your door. Aston Township's Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday April 12, 2025 at 12:00 p.m., with a rain date scheduled for Saturday April 19, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. There is no registration required, bring your camera the Easter Bunny will be available for hugs and pictures. Refreshments will be served inside following the Egg Hunt as well as a face painter and music. This event will be held at the James W. McGinn Community Center, 3270 Concord Road. Aston, Pa 19014.
