Hometown Heroes Banner Program

Aston Township is proud to announce the Hometown Heroes Banner Program is starting up again. The program serves as a tribute to recognize service men and women from the Aston Township who have served or are serving our country in a branch of the military.  The banners are 30” wide by 48” tall. Each individual banner will honor a specific Aston Township service man or woman and will include his or her picture, branch of service and era of service. Chester Water Authority Hydrant Flushing Notice

Chester Water Authority (CWA) is planning to flush all public fire hydrants in the CWA distribution system in Aston Township beginning the week of July 12, 2026.  They plan to conduct this work between the hours of 9pm and 5am, Sunday night through Friday morning.  During this work, there could be brief periods where the water in the distribution system may become discolored.  Distribution system water pressure may be depressed during the hydrant flushing activity as well.

2026 Household Hazardous Waste Events Reminder

Just a reminder that Delaware County will be holding their next Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) event on June 13th at the Upper Chichester Municipal Building, 8500 Furey Rd. Upper Chichester, Pa 19061.  This event does require an appointment and registration is required.  Please see the below flyer for additional information.

Peddlers Permits Issued

We would like to notify the residents of Aston that Remedi Pest Control has been issued one (1) peddlers permit beginning on June 5, 2026 and expiring July 20, 2026. We remind you to always ask to see a Township issued permit from anyone knocking on your door.  Additionally, if you have elected to be entered onto the Township "No Knock" list the company has been given a list and advised not to solicit at those homes. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact the Code Department at 610-494-0384.

Aston Ambulance Authority Monthly Meeting Change

Due to Election Day, the monthly meeting of the Aston Ambulance Authority is being moved to Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 5 p.m.  This meeting will be held at the Aston Township Municipal Building (3264 Concord Rd. Aston, Pa 19014) in the Commissioners meeting room located on the first floor.

Camp Aston is a wonderful summer opportunity for the boys and girls of Aston Township. It is open to ALL Aston residents who will enter first grade through fifth grade in the fall and is brought to you by the Aston Township Board of Commissioners. Camp is held Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. beginning Monday June 22nd until Friday, August 14th for a total of eight (8) weeks.
