We will begin the day with the annual parade from Neumann University beginning at 9:30 am and proceed south on Concord Road where it will be joined by the bike contest participants at the Giant Food Store parking lot and continue south on Concord Road to the Community Center where the Community Day festivities and the Aston Business Expo will begin. Community Day Bike Rodeo & Contest

Aston Township Community Day Bike Contest Kids, ages 0 to 12, can participate in the parade by decorating their bikes, wagons and strollers and riding along the parade route for all to see. Prizes will be awarded for the best decorations. There will also be a Rodeo Contest prior to the parade for bikes, sponsored by the Neumann University Nursing Program. Community Day & Business Expo

The Aston Business Association will host the 20th Annual Aston Township Community Day on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 11:00AM - 3:00PM Community Day will begin with a parade from Neumann University (Neumann Drive) starting at 9:00am. The parade will proceed along Concord Road to the Aston Township Community Center. The parade will feature local community groups and organizations, as well as, musical entertainment. Inside the community center, the Annual Business Expo will be held for all Aston businesses

Chester Creek Rail Trail Annual Meeting
webmaster2021-08-05T16:11:46-04:00PHASE II EXTENSION OF THE CHESTER CREEK RAIL TRAIL The Friends of the Chester Creek Branch have invited the public to attend their annual meeting to view a presentation on the Phase 2 extension of the Trail and it’s continuation that will go through Aston Township. Guest speakers will include Steven Beckley from the Delaware County Planning Department and Wilson and Associates Engineering. The meeting will take place on September 9, 2021 at the Community Center (gym) their annual meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. with the annual meeting for the public beginning at 7 p.m.
