The following land development project are now active:

Burger King Demolition and Taco Bell Rebuild

The franchise owner of the Aston Burger King located at 5012 Pennell Road appeared before the Aston Township Zoning Hearing Board on January 22, 2019 and was granted variances to the ordinance for free standing signs, the number and size of menu board signs, the number of building signs and the number of parking spaces. The next steps in the process are for the developer to appear before the Aston Township Planning Commission on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 7PM and the New Construction Committee on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 6:30PM to review land development plans for the Burger King Demolition and construction of a Taco Bell Drive-Thru Restaurant.

Aston Township Public Works Complex

The Southwest Delaware County Municipal Authority located at 1 Gamble Lane, Aston is subdividing 4.09 acres of their total 11.33-acre parcel for the proposed construction of a new Public Works Complex for Aston Township. The subdivision phase does not include any construction activities. However, the Public Works Department will relocate from their current complex at 5021 Pennell Road after construction is completed. The Authority will appear before the Aston Township Planning Commission on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 7PM and the New Construction Committee on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 6:30PM to review their subdivision plans.

The Aston Planning Commission Meeting and the New Construction Meeting will be held in the Commissioners Meeting Room at 5021 Pennell Road. Both are public meetings and residents are invited to attend and comment.
