Land Development Update – November 27, 2018

New Fire Station

The Township is moving forward with plans for the proposed new Fire Station at 2900 Dutton Mill Road as an expansion of the current building. On Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 7PM, Remington & Vernick Engineers will appear before the Aston Township Planning Commission for a review of the application and comments from the Delaware County Planning Commission and the Township Engineer on the land development plans.
Assuming approval, Remington & Vernick will appear before the New Construction Committee on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 6:30PM to review the land development plans.

Titter Roofing, LLC

Titter Roofing, LLC has made application to redevelop the former Word property at 3250 Concord Road. The applicant plans to demolish the rear addition to the existing building and then construct a Butler Building (Pole Barn Structure) on the same footprint. The applicant will use the property for their offices, equipment and materials storage. This is a permitted use in the Commercial District.

The applicant will appear before the Aston Township Planning Commission on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 7PM to review their application and comments from the Delaware County Planning Commission and the Township Engineer on their land development plans. Assuming approval, they will appear before the New Construction Committee on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 6:30PM for their plan review.

A & A Enterprises, LLC

The developer, A & A Enterprises, LLC, located at 2043 Bridgewater Road has made application for a preliminary/final reverse subdivision of the existing Rick’s Tree Service Property located at the same address. Rick Mammucari is the owner of this approximately 18.848-acre property and
A & A Enterprises, LLC. This application does not include any development of the property at the current time.

The applicant will appear before the Aston Township Planning Commission on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 7PM to review the subdivision plans and comments from the Delaware County Planning Commission and the Township Engineer. If approved, the developer will appear before the New Construction Committee on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 6:30PM to review the reverse subdivision plans.

The Planning Commission and New Construction meetings are public meetings and residents are invited to attend and make comment. Both meetings will be held at the Aston Township Municipal Building, 5021 Pennell Road, Aston, Pennsylvania.
