New Fire Station
The Township is moving forward with plans for the new Fire Station at 2900 Dutton Mill Road as an expansion of the current building. We would like to thank State Senator Tom Killion for his assistance in getting a $1 Million grant from the Commonwealth toward construction which could start in the spring of 2019.
In accordance with the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code, land development plans have been filed with Aston Township and the Delaware County Planning Commission. The Delaware County Planning Commission will review the land develop application and land development plans on Thursday, November 15, 2018. Then on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, Remington & Vernick Engineers will appear before the Aston Township Planning Commission for a review of the land development plans for the proposed Fire Station.
The Aston Planning Commission meeting is a public meeting and the public are invited to attend and make comment. The meeting will be held at the Aston Township Municipal Building, 5021 Pennell Road, Aston, Pennsylvania, 19014 starting at 7PM.
