Springbrooke Trade Center

During their regularly scheduled legislative meeting on January 15, 2020, the Aston Township Board of Commissioners approved the Conditional Use Application of Springbrook Industrial, LLC. More specifically, the Board voted to approve the conditional use request under the Mixed-Use Overlay Zoning District for a proposed two (2) building flex-space facility to be located at the corner of Springbrooke Boulevard and Pennell Road. The name of the proposed 36.59-acre parcel is the Springbrooke Trade Center.

The land development schedule for the proposed development is as follows:

Delaware County Planning Commission – Thursday, February 20, 2020 beginning 4:00 p.m. in the Government Center Building, (Room 100), Court House Complex, Media, PA. The public are welcome to attend and comment.

Aston Township Planning Commission – Wednesday, February 26, 2020 beginning 7:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Meeting Room.

Aston Township New Construction Committee – Monday, March 2, 2020 beginning 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioners Meeting room.

Both the Aston Township Planning Commission and New Construction Committee meetings are open to the public who are welcome to attend and comment. Both meetings will include a review of the applicant’s land development and site plans and the Township Engineer’s plan review. These meetings will not take up the merits of the planned development as the conditional use process has been completed.

Aston Board of Commissioners Meeting – Wednesday, March 18, 2020 beginning 7:00 p.m. If the Aston Township Planning Commission and New Construction Committee approve the applicant’s land development plans, the land development plans will be on the meeting agenda for the Board to consider approval.
