Attention all Aston Township residents: In the event of the expected inclement weather, snow, ice and flash freezing we would like residents to know that if power is lost for an extended period of time the Aston Township Community Center will be open from 7:30am to 9:00pm and will remain open longer if needed, even over night to be used as a warming and charging center. Residents with emergencies or acute needs should call 911. Report power outages to PECO at 800.841.4141. Updates will be posted as they are received.

Land Development Update - November 27, 2018 New Fire Station The Township is moving forward with plans for the proposed new Fire Station at 2900 Dutton Mill Road as an expansion of the current building. On Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 7PM, Remington & Vernick Engineers will appear before the Aston Township Planning Commission for a review of the application and comments from the Delaware County Planning Commission and the Township Engineer on the land development plans. New Fire Station The Township is moving forward with plans for the new Fire Station at 2900 Dutton Mill Road as an expansion of the current building.  We would like to thank State Senator Tom Killion for his assistance in getting a $1 Million grant from the Commonwealth toward construction which could start in the spring of 2019. The Aston Township Board of Commissioners is soliciting proposals for a service provider for the Aston Township Defined Benefit Police Pension Plan. Custodial services shall include, but not be limited to, providing secure possession, investment placement, reporting and distribution of pension assets.  Complete details of the procedures for this RFP, including the submission of all required disclosures under Act 44 of 2009, are found on the attached link.  Further clarification may also be made to Township Manager,  William McConville bmcconville@astontwp.net.  Proposals shall be submitted no later than 4:00 P.M. on November 9, 2018.
