Aston Township and Commissioner Bowden would like to inform residents that the County has engaged Wilson Consulting Group and their subcontractor Skelly and Loy to complete all necessary design, engineering and permitting for Phase II of the Chester Creek Trail.  This next segment of the trail will run from the end of the existing trail at Creek Road for approximately 1.5 miles south to a point at or before Bridgewater Road. The following land development project are now active: Burger King Demolition and Taco Bell Rebuild The franchise owner of the Aston Burger King located at 5012 Pennell Road appeared before the Aston Township Zoning Hearing Board on January 22, 2019 and was granted variances to the ordinance for free standing signs, the number and size of menu board signs, the number of building signs and the number of parking spaces. PECO Replacing Poles Along Crozerville Road.

PECO has begun a project on February 11, 2019 to replace poles and wires between 305-499 Crozerville Road., with the cross streets being New & Roberta Roads.  This work is permitted to be done in grass and dirt areas with trees being cut back or removed as needed to install the new poles and wires. Below, please find the link that will take you to a letter sent to Aston Township from Aqua.  This letter explains the upcoming water main replacement project that will take place at New Road between Lenni and Drayton Roads and Drayton Road between New and Crozerville Roads., this work is scheduled to begin on Monday, February 25, 2019. It is with great joy that Aston Township is able to announce that the roundabout located at Birney Highway and Crozerville Road has been approved by PennDOT for use.  We would like to thank you all, residents and non residents for your continued patience with this project, as we incurred bumps in the road causing it to last longer than expected.

The franchise owner of the Aston Burger King located at 5012 Pennell Road is planning to demolish the existing drive-thru restaurant and rebuild it as a Taco Bell drive thru.
