Beginning the week of August 23rd the clearing of trees and shrubs behind the Community Center will take place. This clearing is being done as the beginning phase for the 300 seat amphitheater that will be built  in the future. Currently the Township is only doing site preparation and grading for the project. Smiles in the Playground – Thanks To Energy Transfer

As Spring approaches Aston Township would once again like to recognize Energy Transfer for the role role they played in newly completed Smiles in the Playground project. The project was made possible by a $306,466.47 donation from Energy Transfer to help build and equip the playground. Smiles in the Playground, a handicap-accessible playground that is inclusive to all children, with a special focus on those with disabilities.
