On Tuesday September 3, 2024 a meeting was held at the Community Center for the Aston 5th ward residents in Pennell Manor that will be directly affected by the development 104-106 Pennell Road. known as Star Hill.  The developers were there to answer questions for residents as well as Commissioner Bowden, Township Manager, Assistant Manager, Township Solicitor and Engineer. Earlier this year, Christiana Care announced that they were planning to build three neighborhood hospitals in the Philadelphia Suburbs. As such, I am pleased to announce that one of the neighborhood hospitals will be located right here in Aston Township. The hospital will be located at 700 North Turner Way which is directly across Dutton Mill Road from the IceWorks skating facility. We would like to advise the public that with the construction of the new Township and Police building beginning, there could be a noticeable amount of construction traffic.  We urge you to use extra caution while entering and exiting the main driveway for the Community Center.  We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause currently we believe that a majority of the work will be mobilization and site work with the building construction beginning sometime in August, we will be sure to keep everyone apprised to the status of work that will be taking place.  If you have any [...]
