The Department of Human Services (DHS) has launched a statewide Support & Referral Helpline staffed by skilled and compassionate caseworkers who will be available 24/7 to counsel residents struggling with anxiety and other challenging emotions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The toll-free, around-the-clock support line is 1-855-284-2494. For TTY, dial 724-631-5600. Trash and Recycling Update – March 20, 2020

Due to the COVID-19 Virus and the limited/rotating staff currently operating at the Township, after today, Friday March 20, 2020 Aston Township Public Works will only be collecting TRASH AND RECYCLING from residents.  Tree branch as well as metal and appliance collection will not continue until further notice. We appreciate and thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this difficult time.

Township residents are probably aware of the Coronavirus outbreak which first appeared in China and has now reached our shores. This virus, known as COVID-19, causes respiratory illness with symptoms ranging from mild to severe. Symptoms can include Fever, Cough, and Shortness of Breath and may appear anywhere from 2-14 days after exposure. Springbrooke Trade Center Land Development Update January 29, 2020

Springbrooke Trade Center During their regularly scheduled legislative meeting on January 15, 2020, the Aston Township Board of Commissioners approved the Conditional Use Application of Springbrook Industrial, LLC. More specifically, the Board voted to approve the conditional use request under the Mixed-Use Overlay Zoning District for a proposed two (2) building flex-space facility to be located at the corner of Springbrooke Boulevard and Pennell Road. The name of the proposed 36.59-acre parcel is the Springbrooke Trade Center. AARP Income Taxes Prepared At The Community Center

As done in previous years, AARP will be helping local senior citizens with preparation of their income taxes.  This will be held at the Aston Township Community Center, 3270 Concord Road., Aston, Pa 19014 on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. beginning February 1st through April 15th.  Services will not be available on Monday February 15th due to President's Day. Peco Gas Line Maintenance Throughout Township

We would like residents to be aware Peco will be replacing gas lines (from main to the house) throughout the Township.  Peco will be contacting homeowners directly to make arrangements for the work being completed.  As they move through the Township, we will be updating residents via our website and social media which streets they will be working on.
