Delaware County Resumes use of Single-Dose Johnson & Johnson Vaccine

Following the announcement by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practice (ACIP) to resume the administration of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, Delaware County has opened two vaccine sites that will administer the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Two sites will be open beginning May 1st: Delaware County Community College And Ridley High School.

The U.S. Small Business Administration is reminding businesses in Pennsylvania that Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) are still available to small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture, and private nonprofit organizations affected by civil unrest from May 30 to June 8, 2020. The application deadline is May 7.

All Adults in Pennsylvania are Eligible for Vaccine Tomorrow (4/13/21)

Governor Tom Wolf and the COVID-19 Vaccine Task Force announced that effective tomorrow, Tuesday, April 13, all Pennsylvania adults will be eligible to schedule an appointment for the COVID -19 vaccine. The Department of Health noted that there is ongoing appointment availability in many parts of the state even as Phase 1A and B continue and 1C begins today.

Delaware County Announces Emergency Rental Assistance Program

Delaware County officially launched the Delaware County Emergency Rental Assistance (DELCO ERA) Grant Program on March 26. The program assists renters who have suffered disruption and loss of income due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Over $37 million is available to residents to assist with past due rent and an outstanding utility bill.
