The Parks & Recreation Committee is committed to making Aston a fun and compassionate place to live. Each year, along with countless volunteers, this group plan and organizes many events designed to make Aston a great place to live and raise a family. Below are some notable examples of these events. It’s important give back to your community! Park & Recreation is always looking for people looking to lend a helping hand. This committee has appointed commissioners and residents that oversee the operation and maintenance of the township parks and recreational facilities, including equipment recommendations. Additionally, the committee organizes and facilitates a wide range of recreational and entertainment activities that will bring together businesses and the residential community together in a common partnership with the township.
This committee typically meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm in the James W. McGinn Community Center 3270 Concord Road, Aston, PA 19014
